The Nebula system (patent pending) is designed specifically for new or existing pool and patio screen enclosures, standard or Trac™ beams or the Nebula mounting rail. LED lighting is perfect around pool or sea water and out in weather as the system is completely chemical and water resistant. The Nebula Rail Light System is powered by 12v DC which makes our lighting solution safe around water.

Nebula Lighting Systems manufactures state-of-the-art lighting systems and lamp assemblies for architectural, recreational, display and general illumination (residential and commercial) L.E.D. lighting applications. Nebula holds several patents and patents pending on their systems, components, drivers, thermal management system and other enabling technologies.

Comparison of CFL versus LED energy use

Our LEDs are built with Cree LEDs. Cree leads the industry in brightness and reliability for power LEDs. They incorporate the latest technology which allows for high-performance and high-reliability. They are tested to the highest standards in the LED industry, are efficient, and are environmentally friendly.

Save 90% of energy costs
Lasts up to 100,000 hours (low maintenance)
Eco-friendly (no Mercury, no UV, and less CO2 emissions)
Low heat

The Idea of a Lamp May Be Outdated

The long lifetime of LED light may make the idea of a lamp outdated. Lighting-class LEDs do not fail catastrophically like light bulbs. Instead, they can provide at least 50,000 hours of useful lifetime before they gracefully degrade below 70% of their initial light output (also called lumen maintenance). That’s equal to 5.7 years if left on continuously!

However, in most lighting situations, the lights are switched off regularly.

This off period can extend the lifetime of the LED well past three decades,

as shown in Chart 1 at right. After the years it will take for an LED luminaire

to “burn out,” LED lighting technology will be brighter, more efficient, and

probably offer TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) savings over the older LED

Light Loss Within the Fixture
Fixture light loss occurs when light rays from the light source strike the fixture housing before hitting the target. Some light is absorbed by the fixture housing, while some is reflected back into the fixture. The efficiency of the fixture is dictated by placement of the light source, the shape of the fixture housing, and materials used in the fixture housing. As the Figure 2 below shows, the directional nature of LED light enables much higher fixture efficiency than is possible with omni-directional light sources.
